If this turns out to be the case with the dog you have selected, you should at least receive the latest inoculation record. And, as with choosing any dog, look for clear eyes, a clean nose and no obvious signs of illness or injury. The largest male we ever placed was Conor, whose racing weight was 105 pounds. The smallest female was Wee Wicked, whose weight was 40 pounds. Both dogs represent the extreme, not the average. Greyhounds are, however, graceful dogs that seem to know how to tuck themselves into small spaces. Most people who see a Greyhound for the first time consider them huge, but after a while they get used to their size and realize that Greyhounds are basically all legs!
